Wonderful THICK! Ruler
I have an elderly Gammill = possibly from the early 2000's. The ruler foot that is available for the Gammill Supreme Hand-Guided standard stitch Quilting Machine is 9/16" This old beauty sews beautifully. However, it probably hops higher than today’s industry standard and requires 3/8” rulers for optimum safety. As a beginning quilter, I do not need the added challenge of trying to quilt with the wrong sized ruler. I was THRILLED to find that Teryl Loy offers a wide range of 3/8” thick rulers and I am busy building my collection. The Loy’s offer ¼ inch thick rulers for modern machines also; however, they are the ONLY vendor who offers rulers suitable for my vintage machine.
